West Seneca police blotter reveals DWI arrests, scams, and burglaries

WEST SENECA — A 29-year-old Boston woman was arrested for drunk driving after police observed her vehicle weaving between lanes on Transit Road around 4:15 a.m. on April 13.

The driver, who told officers she was returning home from a bar, failed field sobriety tests and registered a .174% BAC on a preliminary breath test, resulting in an Aggravated DWI charge.

A Hillview Terrace couple reported being victims of an elaborate scam on April 14, losing $15,000 after individuals posing as court officers and an attorney claimed the couple’s adult daughter needed bail money…
