BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — More than 200 bands will be performing in the Elmwood Village this weekend as part of this year’s Buffalo Porchfest.
The free event, which began in 2013, is set to take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday outside various houses and establishments in the Elmwood Village.
“It’s kind of the unofficial start of summer here in Western New York,” said James Cichocki, executive director of the Elmwood Village Association. “It’s definitely the start of festival season. It’s great. It highlights the local musicians, it highlights all of the great architecture in the Elmwood Village, and it highlights what a great walkable neighborhood the village is.”…
