Police in Niagara County spent the past week arresting people accused of crimes. Niagara County is made up of quite a few cities, towns, and villages, including the City of Lockport, the City of North Tonawanda, the City of Niagara Falls, the Town of Lewiston, the Town of Lockport, the Town of Wheatfield, and the Village of Youngstown. Last week, 29 people were arrested in Niagara County.
A 39-year-old man has been charged with second-degree manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle incident without reporting. Antoine Bones, of Niagara Falls, is accused of hitting 50-year-old Yolanda Carr with a vehicle, which caused her death. The fatal incident happened on August 5, 2024. He is being held on a $250,000 cash or $500,000 bond.
