LANCASTER, N.Y. — A man on Puerto Rico’s most wanted list was arrested Thursday in Lancaster by U.S. Border Patrol agents.
The arrest followed an incident where Raymundo Rondon-Canales — a 54-year-old man and U.S. citizen from Puerto Rico — impersonated a Colombian National, offering up a counterfeit lawful permanent resident card to federal agents.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection said in a statement that Rondon-Canales was “a convicted felon-sex offender (who) had absconded from Puerto Rico, violating his court order from Guayama Court.”…
