Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – Developer Doug Jemal is moving on from a long-planned project, canceling plans for a town center at the Boulevard Mall. The Buffalo News says Jemal became frustrated with the town trying to take control of the site through eminent domain. Jemal instead plans to turn the properties he owns there into a strip mall.

Another national fried chicken chain is expanding in Western New York as Krispy Krunchy Chicken has plans to open at the outlet mall in Niagara Falls. Business First reports the moving in process will begin imminently. The chain recently opened at convenience stores and gas stations in Blasdell, Buffalo, Lockport and Niagara Falls.

Another Paddock has joined the family business as Lauren Paddock has been named the first woman Vice President in Paddock Chevrolet’s history. Lauren is the daughter of current President and CEO Duane Paddock. In her new role, Lauren will handle the dealership’s day-to-day operations…
