Weekend weather improves with clearing conditions but cool temps

The weather for a June weekend in the Buffalo-Niagara region could be better, but could be worse.

It seems to be somewhat becoming the norm as summer unfolds across the region, with some showers in the forecast on the weekend and unseasonably cooler conditions.

After some overnight rainfall early Saturday, a frontal system will bring showers and a few thunderstorms to the southern tier at times.
