BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An unidentified male swimmer reportedly went missing at Lake Chautauqua on Saturday, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s office.
A 911 call came in around 4:40 p.m. reporting the missing swimmer near Chautauqua Institution. The Chautauqua County Water Emergency Team, CCSO Marine Patrol, and several local fire departments began a search, however the swimmer was not located before nightfall.
