BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man is facing up to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter and running over a Niagara Falls man last year, the Niagara County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Officials said that Patrick J. Washington III, 20, admitted to intentionally running over Xavier T. Gober, 26, on Hyde Park Blvd. in Niagara Falls on Oct. 15, 2024. Gober died as a result.
Washington is expected to be sentenced on Sept. 2.
