Former city worker charged in workers’ compensation fraud investigation

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A former North Tonawanda Department of Public Works employee has been charged in connection with a workers’ compensation fraud investigation.

David Fingerlow, Jr., faces charges of grand larceny, falsifying business records and offering a false instrument for filing, which are felonies. North Tonawanda police say this case relates to improper workers’ compensation payments Fingerlow is suspected of receiving while he was a city employee.
