LOCKPORT, N.Y. — Avangrid, an energy services and delivery company, said it has installed more than 1.2 million residential smart meters across New York State, including for many NYSEG and RG&E customers in Western New York.
A company spokesperson said both gas and electric smart meter installation is currently underway in the areas of Lockport and Orleans County. Work is scheduled through at least October.
