BFC Partners is bringing plans for 530 apartments on two downtown area sites to the Planning Board on Monday for review. The company is planning a seven-story mixed-use building at the Towne Gardens Plaza site at William and Jefferson Avenue and a six-story mixed-use building at Ellicott and Virginia streets on the Medical Campus. Carmina Wood Design is designing both of the projects.
The Towne Gardens Plaza project will include 310 residential units and 30,000 square feet of commercial and community space. It will replace the existing retail plaza on the site and would be constructed in two phases.
