Two Men Arraigned in Connection to Shooting of 2-Year-Old in Village of Sloan

(WNY News Now) – Two men have been arraigned on felony charges following a shooting that injured a toddler during a domestic incident in Erie County.

Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Keane announced the arraignment of two individuals in connection with the shooting of a 2-year-old child that occurred on Sunday, July 20, 2025, inside a residence on Lackawanna Avenue in the Village of Sloan.

Shannon Rose, 19, of Cheektowaga, was arraigned before Cheektowaga Town Justice John Wanat on charges of Assault in the Second Degree, a Class “D” violent felony, and Criminal Possession of a Firearm, a Class “E” felony. He is being held without bail and is scheduled to return to court for a felony hearing on Friday, July 25 at 9:30 a.m. If convicted of the top count, Rose faces up to seven years in prison…
