2 suffer life-threatening injuries in Amherst crash

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two people suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash in Amherst early Tuesday morning, according to police.

Police responded to the area of 2457 Kensington Avenue just before 6 a.m. Tuesday. It was found that the driver, a 37-year-old Cheektowaga man, was driving southbound, crossed into the northbound lane and hit a tree and a utility pole. His wife, 40 and also of Cheektowaga, was in the car.

Both were taken to ECMC to be treated for life-threatening injuries…
