Buffalo pastor dedicates Sundays to aid the homeless community

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Every Sunday, outside the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library in downtown Buffalo, Pastor Taylor and volunteers gather to feed and support the homeless community.

Pastor Taylor, founder of Taylor’s Harvest, says she is out there every Sunday, no matter Code Blue, blizzard, or extreme heat; even on her birthday. She is helping people in need. “This is like my birthday gift because being out here… dancing, like we have a good time, so I love it,” she said.

Pastor Taylor, who says she has been serving the community for over two years, is able to do this with the help of volunteers and homemade meals. “My mom does most of the cooking. We also have, like some other people that jumped in and help with the cooking as well, so this is really a blessing how we can all come together and help,” she said…
