Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – A Buffalo man has been convicted in a deadly shooting that took place two years ago in the city’s Willert Park neighborhood.
Jurors have found 42-year-old Ernest Brown guilty on Friday of murder and weapons possession for the incident that took place on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at approximately 3 a.m.
That night saw Buffalo police officers respond to a reported shooting on Genesee Street near Mortimer Street. Three people were found shot outside of a tavern, with two of the victims – a 33-year-old male and 44-year-old male – being taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries…
