PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — More than 300,000 kitchen stools were recalled after two people fell and suffered head injuries.
The recall involves the Cosco 2-Step Kitchen Stepper, which has a safety bar attached to the back. According to the recall notice, there have been 34 reports of the safety bar detaching or breaking.
The affected stools were sold from February 2021 through July 2025 at several retailers, including Target, Walmart, the Home Depot, Lowe’s, and BJ’s Wholesale Club.
