Owner says vandalism of Buffalo Grand Hotel has increased since city threatened to seize building

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Six weeks after acting mayor Chris Scanlon announced the city of Buffalo has deemed the Buffalo Grand Hotel as abandoned, and that the city will pursue taking possession of the building, property owner Harry Stinson is saying more damage has been done to what was once Buffalo’s largest hotel.

“We have had more damage done to the building since that press conference than we have in the last three years,” said Harry Stinson.
