Today, we gather not just for music, but for something deeper — a moment to come together as a community. The Buffalo Jazz Festival Prelude: A New Orleans Celebration is more than an event; it’s a testament to our city’s resiliency, our shared love of jazz, and our belief in the joy that comes when we celebrate together.
Over the past month, JazzBuffalo and Tappo Restaurant have made considerable investments of time, effort, and resources to create a space for our community to celebrate in the true spirit of New Orleans, to bring that vibrant spirit alive right here in Buffalo. More importantly, to transform a disappointing setback into a chance for something truly remarkable.
Today is also a chance for us to stand together in support of these efforts. To demonstrate that we can bounce back with strength and purpose.
We will be making a collection for donations, as we have before, during the event, to help sustain and grow this community-driven adventure.
