BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Common Council Majority Leader Leah Halton-Pope said on Monday that the JFK pool was closed after an incident involving an adult and a young lifeguard.
The adult “physically assaulted and threatened a young lifeguard at the pool, causing staff to fear for their lives,” she said in a statement.
