BUFFALO, N.Y. — The men who shot and killed another man in 2023 have been sentenced to prison.
Erie County DA Michael Keane announced Wednesday that 19-year-old Jakai Lofton, has been sentenced to an indeterminate sentence of 25 years to life in prison for shooting and killing a man in August of 2023. His co-defendant, Anthony Borden, also 19, was sentenced to 8 years in prison and 5 years of post-release supervision.
