BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Erie County Department of Health is partnering with Buffalo Public Schools and the University at Buffalo School of Nursing to offer a series of free back-to-school vaccine clinics for Buffalo students.
The clinics provide all required school immunizations, including DTap, DTP, Tdap, Td, Polio, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Meningococcal, Hib and PCV (pneumococcal).
Erie County Health Commissioner Dr. Gale Burstein said the clinics will help families who cannot get timely appointments with their pediatricians. “These clinics help fill that gap, so students are protected and ready to learn,” she said…
