Sheriff’s officer, K-9 injured following 190 crash with tractor-trailer

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two injuries were reported after a marked Erie County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle and a tractor trailer collided Wednesday afternoon on the 190 near Seneca Street in Buffalo

The crash happened in the northbound lanes around 2:55 p.m. Wednesday, according to a spokesperson for the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.

The sergeant driving the patrol vehicle was transported by AMR to Erie County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries to his face, neck, and back. A K-9 that was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash was taken to a veterinary clinic for evaluation…
