NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — Niagara Falls city leaders say the former Junior’s Truck Stop on Niagara Falls Boulevard will be turned into a trades training facility.
The Niagara Falls City Council sold the former truck stop to the Buffalo and Niagara County Building Construction and Trades Council for just $1.
“We’ve had a difficult time marketing that property,” said Mayor Robert Restaino. “This became an opportunity that presented itself really from the perspective of, are you going to try to maximize value on the sale, or are you going to look to try to improve the lives of some of the people in the community.”…
