Buffalo Wing Festival celebrates community, charity, and competition

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — For more than two decades, the National Buffalo Wing Festival has been serving up the city’s most famous dish while giving back to the community.

Festival founder Drew Cerza, better known as “The Wing King,” said the event has raised more than $500,000 over its 23-year history. The money benefits local charities, with this year’s proceeds going to Be More WNY and The All-Timers Association of Western New York.
