BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Batavia man died after he struck a utility pole with a vehicle Wednesday on Ridge Road in the Town of Ridgeway, the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Police responded to scene at midnight, where they found a vehicle engulfed in flames. Officials said live power lines fell across the road and around the vehicle, which prevented first responders from immediately reaching the scene.
