(WNY News Now) – PERSIA, N.Y. — A vehicle pursuit that stretched across three townships in Cattaraugus County ended in multiple arrests after deputies assisted Buffalo Police in locating suspects tied to an armed robbery on the city’s east side.
On September 3, 2025, around 10:38 p.m., the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office responded to a “be on the lookout” alert issued by Buffalo Police for a vehicle believed to be involved in the robbery. Deputies located the suspect vehicle, along with a second vehicle, traveling at high speed on Broadway Road in the Town of Persia.
When deputies attempted to stop the vehicles, both failed to yield and a pursuit began. The chase continued through several townships before deputies successfully deployed spike strips in the Village of Little Valley, disabling the primary vehicle.
