GRAND ISLAND, NY — As students across Western New York head back to school, they’re being joined by a new kind of classmate—one that’s not sitting at a desk, but lives entirely online.

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is rapidly becoming a central part of the modern classroom. Education leaders across the region are preparing for another year of experimenting with and implementing AI tools—both the opportunities and the challenges they bring.
