Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Buffalo Police say an arrest was made in connection with the recent string of burglaries in the City’s B and D districts.
Shortly after 1 a.m., officers assigned to a burglary detail observed a male running west on the 800 block of Amherst Street. As officers made contact with the male, two complainants followed after telling officers he had just been in their car. Upon further investigation, the suspect had allegedly been in the complainants’ house and loaded one of their vehicles with their own property, including multiple electronic devices and a television. Police believe he was attempting to steal the vehicle when confronted by the homeowners.
Police say when they arrested the suspect, he was in possession of 2 wallets and 14 credit/debit cards not in his name, and matched the description of the burglar in several other recent incidents…
