CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — Female veterans from World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War took off from Buffalo Niagara International Airport on Saturday morning for the region’s first all-female Honor Flight.
The free trip will bring the veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit service memorials before returning home Sunday.
