City officials identify man killed in Buffalo fire

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The City of Buffalo has identified the man killed in a house fire Saturday night.

Officials have identified the victim as 71-year-old Randy Warner, known to many in his Riverside neighborhood as “Grandpa Randy” or “Papa Randy.”

The fire began sometime after 6 p.m. at a 1½-story home on 112 Rano Street. A spokesperson for the Buffalo Fire Department says flames started in the front of the building…
