House fire on Buffalo’s West side causes estimated $225,000 in damages

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Firefighters responded to a house fire on the West side of Buffalo Tuesday afternoon.

According to city of Buffalo officials, city fire crews responded to reports of a house fire at 166 Roesch Avenue at around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.

The fire reportedly originated in the attic of the house, and did not spread to any other parts of the house. Initial damage reports place damages to the structure at $150,000, with an additional $75,000 in damages estimated for the contents of the house that were lost in the fire…
