Niagara County has published a list of restaurants that had health code violations during their latest inspections in August. Sadly, some restaurants aren’t concerned with the health and safety of their customers. Restaurants can receive violations for things like, “Garbage storage areas not properly constructed or maintained, creating a nuisance,” and “Food contact surfaces not washed, rinsed and sanitized after each use and following any time of operations when contamination may have occurred.” Some restaurants received critical violations such as, “Food from unapproved source, spoiled, adulterated on premises.”
