BUFFALO, N.Y. — An American Medical Response (AMR) paramedic is earning the National Stars of Life award for his compassionate response during a blizzard in 2024.
Douglas Milks, a paramedic who’s served the community for over 39 years, will stand with 31 other professionals who have earned the Stars of Life award. The award is presented by the American Ambulance Association and honors individuals who went above and beyond in their service, representing the best of the EMS profession.
