North Tonawanda delays start of overnight parking ban

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. — The City of North Tonawanda is postponing the start of its annual overnight parking ban, with enforcement now set to begin at 3 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 1.

Residents will be required to move their vehicles off city streets between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. once the ban takes effect. The restrictions will remain in place through April 1.

Mayor Austin Tylec said the decision to delay enforcement gives residents additional time before winter regulations begin. However, he added that the city may still ask residents to move their cars earlier if snow arrives ahead of schedule…
