Two Buffalo teens facing gun charges

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two Buffalo teens are facing charges gun charges after an incident at the Donovan Drive Apartments on Sunday.

According to the Buffalo Police Department, officers responded to Donovan Drive Apartments at around 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, after receiving reports of a group of males who were allegedly armed with handguns and rifles. Officers say they allegedly saw two armed individuals fleeing from the scene.

Buffalo Police say 19-year-old Deandre Gates and an 16-year-old male have both been taking into custody and have each been charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, and one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree.
