Buffalo man charged after being found with loaded firearm

TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. — A Buffalo man is facing charges after allegedly being found with a loaded firearm during a traffic stop.

According to the Town of Tonawanda Police Department, on Tuesday night at around 11:30 p.m., 29-year-old Julius McCain Jr., of Buffalo, was riding his bike near the intersection of Tonawanda Street and Vulcan Street when officers allegedly witnessed him commit multiple traffic violations.

Police say McCain allegedly attempted to flee from officers, but was apprehended. Officers then found that McCain was illegally in possession of a loaded firearm. According to police, McCain had outstanding warrants in multiple jurisdictions, including the Town of Tonawanda…
