LOCKPORT, N.Y. — A man is facing charges after leading a Niagara County Sheriff’s Deputy on a high speed chase in the City of Lockport on Sunday morning.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, at around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, a sheriff’s deputy witnessed a Mitsubishi sedan driving down South Transit Street with a broken headlight. The deputy attempted to follow the vehicle to conduct a traffic stop. The car then began to flee the scene, authorities say.
The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office says that the deputy then pursued the vehicle through the City of Lockport, which led to the sedan crashing into St. Patrick’s Cemetery on Glenwood Avenue. The driver was identified as 18-year-old Jeffrey Killion II of Wilson…
