BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Starbucks Workers United on Thursday announced that workers in 25 cities have joined the labor strike, which they’ve deemed the “Red Cup Rebellion.”
The added workers have now reportedly increased the total of striking union baristas to 2,000 — from 95 stores in 65 cities. This follows an unfair labor practice strike at the Starbucks distribution center in York, Pennsylvania on Wednesday.
