Brothers with criminal records face new federal drug and gun charges

A known gang member and his younger brother are facing serious new charges after a federal investigation tied both to drugs and illegal weapons.

Kevin Miller, 35, of Buffalo, and Kaylen Miller, 28, of Lackawanna, were arrested this week on separate complaints, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York.

Kevin Miller, described by federal authorities as a member of the Alma Avenue Gang, is charged with selling meth to an undercover officer. Prosecutors say the sales were part of a long-running investigation into his alleged drug trafficking.

He has a prior federal narcotics conviction and now faces a minimum of five years and up to 40 years in prison, along with a $5 million fine…
