Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) A weekend house fire that killed two children in Buffalo has been ruled accidental. The fire broke out early Saturday morning at 69 French St. Fire officials said an electric space heater on the first floor sparked the blaze.
First responders found two children, ages 2 and 10, dead inside the home. Three other children, ages 6, 7, and 9, along with two adults, were taken to area hospitals. A dog and two cats also died in the fire.
