BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man who repeatedly violated an order of protection to contact a victim and break into her home admitted to lighting a fire outside her house in 2023, according to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.
Around 2:30 a.m. on June 2, 44-year-old Scott Sinwell used an accelerant to start a fire on the rear exterior of a building in Buffalo’s Seneca Babcock neighborhood. Approximately $60,000 in damage was done and the residents were displaced.
