BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A fire on Gilbert Street caused an estimated total of $300,000 in damages on Tuesday, officials said.
Fire crews responded to a fire at 125 Gilbert St. shortly after 6:30 p.m. The fire spread throughout the two-family residence and caused an estimated $200,000 in damage to the structure and $100,000 in damage to the property’s contents.
The American Red Cross is assisting five adults from the two apartments. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
