BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A North Tonawanda man was sentenced after he purchased over 500 stolen bank cards and used the funds to purchase and sell gas, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Thursday.
Between August 2022 and July 2023, 23-year-old Kingsley Brown and co-defendant Cross Malik Williams purchased around 570 stolen bank cards online.
The stolen information was used to buy tens of thousands of dollars worth of gas that would then be sold for cheaper than the original cost. Brown admitted to being responsible for $192,673 of total loss as a part of his plea agreement…
