Buffalo woman sentenced after garbage truck accident ‘destroyed kid’s life’

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo woman was sentenced on Thursday after she hit a teenager with a garbage truck last year and left him paralyzed.

The incident “destroyed this kid’s life,” Erie County District Attorney Mike Keane said during a press conference.
