Advocates speak out in support of 2 Buffalo schools

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Decisions on which Buffalo schools will shut their doors won’t be made until after the new year, but at Wednesday’s Board of Education meeting, advocates spoke out in support of two schools that are in danger of closing.

On Tuesday, dozens of people gathered outside of D’Youville Porter Campus School 3 and Early Childhood Center School 90 after BPS confirmed the closure recommendation. On Wednesday, supporters gave pleas to save the schools.
