Jury conviction leads to life sentence in Buffalo party shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for a deadly shooting in the city’s Cold Springs neighborhood, prosecutors said Friday.

Alfonzo Quinney, 49, was sentenced after being convicted of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the shooting death of 28-year-old-Elijah Mingo.
