Family of William Sager Jr. still fighting for justice after city makes $3M settlement

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo Common Council has approved a $3 million settlement with the family of William Sager Jr., the 28-year-old Air National Guardsman who died in July 2014 after an altercation in May of that year at Molly’s Pub.

While the settlement marks the end of the city’s involvement in this case, for the family the fight for justice is not over.
