Buffalo woman arraigned, allegedly hit and killed 80-year-old man

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo woman was arraigned on one count of vehicular manslaughter among other charges after she allegedly hit and killed an 80-year-old man on Saturday, according to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.

Officials said 32-year-old Renaiyah Cornelious was driving under the influence and with children in the car when she hit the victim. The incident occurred on McKinley Avenue and Lorraine Avenue Saturday evening.

The 80-year-old man was walking a dog through a crosswalk at the time. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The dog was not injured…
