BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two teenagers have been sentenced for their involvement in the 2024 killing of 3-year-old Ramone “Red” Carter, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday.
Carter was shot in the back while riding his tricycle outside his home around 9:30 p.m. on June 21, 2024. Police responded to the scene at Domedion Avenue near Genesee Street and transported Carter to ECMC where he was pronounced dead. A bullet also grazed his sister, Jemiah Carter, who was seven years old at the time and recovered.
