After 11 years serving burgers on Allen Street, Allen Burger Venture will shut down at the end of this month.
In a social media post, the owners said they made the decision to close after Jan. 31 due to the ongoing challenges of operating a small, independent restaurant.
“The Buffalo food scene isn’t what it used to be, and like so many small, independent restaurants, the challenges of these changing times have led us to this difficult decision,” the post read in part. “While this chapter is coming to an end, what we take with us is overwhelming pride in what we built and deep appreciation for everyone who made it possible.”…
